Just back from a cruise on the Azamara Pursuit where I was teaching on sea days. Fab trip taking in some of the sights of Mauritius, the Maldives. Cochin (India) , Sri Lanka, Indonesia and returning from Singapore.

I enjoyed an outing with Liverpool Urban Sketchers last Saturday. We were based at the World Museum in William Brown Street . I climbed to the top floor where there is a wonderful panoramic view of the city. I have just been ambushed by a deputation of the students from this year’s holiday in Olhào at a talk I was giving on Urban Sketching. I could see them lurking at the back of the room and when I finished they cornered me and presented me with an absolutely brilliant momento of our week at the Casa Rosa.
