Tessera falling: Colours of Hilbre

A playful abstraction inspired by colours seen in the sands, islands and water of the Dee estuary (I should say that the colour reproduction is not particularly good here it is more muted than shown!)
The idea of rivulets running through the watery landscape of colour studies boxes came to me whist painting the view. I used the theme for two pictures ( the other is Tessera Three) This one was taken to another level with the idea of some of the boxes falling down through the picture.
