Walking the Line

This work focusses on the enigmatic concept of the horizon line. The physical and spiritual significance of looking from one's own position - a personal shoreline - to the horizon is an experience common to us all. Yet we all have different horizons, different views and different interpretations of what we see and how we react to the idea of an "horizon".
This in turn raises questions about the edge of our world perceived and actual boundaries and ultimately our very existence..
Humour draws the viewer in and creates the interest and the extra beat in which the question that is being posed slips into their consciousness. The impossibility of what they see merely enhances the questions that arise from the work.
The work was filmed and edited by Ashley Leech and features Graham Thew and Rachael Sumner.
