I am delighted to say I shall be teaching in the Algarve at the Casa Rosa again in 2025 !
I am looking forward to a week with 12 students this coming October and “Friendship Travel” have asked if I should like to tutor another week in September of 2025.

I enjoyed a morning with Heswall U3A art group on Tuesday 24th April. A small but enthusiastic group who had asked me to do a demo which I could do in stages so they could follow on . I chose a picture of the Grand Canal in Venice which is an ideal project to this end as it demonstrates the unique aspect of watercolour in layering washes. The picture was done in three main stages and the work produced by the group “Top Class.”

It was a real treat to visit Earlston Library in Wallasey. I’m Wallasey born and bred and Earlston was the very place I learnt my love of reading and craft work.
