I enjoyed a morning with Heswall U3A art group on Tuesday 24th April. A small but enthusiastic group who had asked me to do a demo which I could do in stages so they could follow on . I chose a picture of the Grand Canal in Venice which is an ideal project to this end as it demonstrates the unique aspect of watercolour in layering washes. Thank you to the artists of Wallasey Arts Society for a fine welcome and their enthusiastic participation in some watercolour projects this morning. It was a real treat to visit Earlston Library in Wallasey. I’m Wallasey born and bred and Earlston was the very place I learnt my love of reading and craft work.
