I was asked by a local artist Barbara who is championing a “Seabird Trail”in Hoylake if I should like to take part. The idea is that local artists each do an artwork on boards which will be mounted on panels on the promenade adjacent to the bowling green and tennis courts. The resulting outcome will be a large free to see gallery of work each of which will include a local seabird.

Chemist & Co are a local shop who are encouraging local artists to have pop-up exhibitions either inside their shop or if the weather is fine outside on the back of the pavement. I duly accepted the challenge and enjoyed a few days displaying my artwork for the passing Hoylake residents to enjoy and in some cases purchase. I have spent an hour or so updating my profile information and noting just how important sketching is to me. I should need to spend each day here updating if it was to truly reflect the sketching I do most days! I’m clearly yearning to get out and about and have included a picture of my travelling kit.
