Watercolours
My watercolours vary from the very traditional approach to the more contemporary and experimental. I love seeing colours mix on the paper and tend to layer colours in the traditional fashion from light to dark using the paper as my “white” in the palette.

Contemporary / Video Art
My contemporary work often uses a focussed approach usually centred on a theme. I have used the horizon line and beaches as vehicles for my work amongst other ideas in the past . Within this part of the gallery you will find a very diverse and hopefully interesting selection of work from the past eight years.
Printing
I began printing whilst at University working with silkscreen and etching processes. More recently I have turned to processes which I can manage in the studio without recourse to a press, such as mono-printing, lino-cuts and lino-prints. I have developed a method of mono-printing in watercolour which delivers a delightful and unusual end product and have found this sits well with my core skill of watercolour painting.
