Information Sheets for Watercolour Students

Graham Thew October 15, 2015

I’m pleased to say I have added a number of information sheets into the ” Classes” section.

There’s information about the basic kit you will need to get started, sheets on papers, brushes, and some thoughts about approaching the art of sketching 🙂

I have written them for students who are just starting out on the road to enjoy the  hobby & pastime of watercolour painting. You are welcome to download them. It would be nice if you could  leave me a message to let me know you have done it. I hope you find them of use!

  1. Graham,

Thanks. I really enjoyed your watercolor classes (with Pat’s help) on the Celebrity Reflection cruise. Wish I could take more of your classes.

    Ruth

    1. Hi Ruth,
Nice to hear from you and thank you for your kind comment. I’m sorry you are not “just around the corner” so to speak and could come along to the classes, but perhaps you will find a class closer by! I hope you will because there is no doubt you have a flair for painting in watercolour!
It was lovely to meet you on the cruise and perhaps one day our paths may cross again.
      Kind regards, Graham.
p.s. do let me know how you get on if you find a class

  2. Good afternoon Graham,
As one of your ”Reflection students’, it was a pleasure to meet you and Pat whilst at sea. I really enjoyed your classes and meeting you both. We are also back home and missing the Caribbean. Since returning I have picked up my brushes and watercolours, which shows what an inspiration you were. I also have two five year old grand-children starting their painting journeys early.
    Really enjoyed your excellent website.
Perhaps see you again one day on high seas, thanks and best regards for the future,
    Chris White.

    1. Hi Chris
Thanks for your kind words. I’m so pleased to hear you intend carrying on with the watercolour painting!
Pat and I really enjoyed the voyage and especially the enthusiasm of all the “students”
Great to meet you, and yes it would be a delight if our seaborne paths crossed again.
      Kind regards, Graham
