Posting a picture of one of my latest artworks…. Quite a therapeutic, an almost autobiographical piece! It is a series of icons gathered as one, alluding to  shapes used in architectural plans yet rolling these configurations into other blocks of shape and colour.  I find when I’m in the studio waiting for inspiration to strike, rather than just stare into space it is better to actually be doing something with the pencil and brush. Very often it is a “doodle” that become shapes such as these in the picture and thereafter it takes on a life of its own…..
