Thank you to the artists of Wallasey Arts Society for a fine welcome and their enthusiastic participation in some watercolour projects this morning.
It was a real treat to visit Earlston Library in Wallasey. I’m Wallasey born and bred and Earlston was the very place I learnt my love of reading and craft work. I remember as a child visiting the children’s library to do Saturday morning craft projects! The Wallasey artists there today made me feel very welcome and the morning passed in the blink of an eye with their questions, amusing comments and in depth consultations about masking tape!
The photo of the group below shows their very fine and various interpretations of a glass jar with lilies. Thanks all!
