In spite of the blustery weather I managed a quiet hour doing a few sketches down on the front. I was just finishing when this lady wandered along the sea wall in front of me as if asking to be drawn whilst she wistfully looked out to sea. I couldn’t resist the contrast of her white top against the dirty grey sea was too inviting!
