I have recently returned from my fourth “tour of duty” in Olhão in the Algarve where I was tutoring an Art retreat for Friendship Holidays.  We had such a lovely time! The 12 students on the course ranged in their artistic experience from “I haven’t painted since school” to confidently using watercolours and framing work. Everyone mixed in so well and there was a lot of laughing, eating, drinking and generally enjoying everything the quaint town of Olhão has to offer. The Casa Rosa is the perfect base for our activities and their staff an attentive and friendly group. The accommodation first class and somehow the week is enhanced with each of the rooms in the hotel accommodating someone on the holiday. The few photos below serve to provide a flavour of the experience… Roll on next May when I am there again.
