Had a lovely day today with T.A.G. over at Waverton  near Chester. Super venue and a warm welcome . Demonstration with a bit of a difference trying to cover six topics in the allotted two hours. Only managed five (well four and a half really) but there was plenty of discussion and an enthusiastic response to the projects . About 13 artists carried on into the afternoon workshop and tackled their own versions of the demonstrated topics to great effect. Also asked to judge their Pen-and-ink picture submissions – all to a great standard which naturally made the decision very difficult. I was delighted that the pictures were anonymous so when the award went to Vince one of our Wirral Urban sketching fraternity I don’t think it looked like a “fix”! Thank you TAG for a great day!
