Well the new year has not seen any respite in covid restrictions so I set about setting a new “challenge” for Wirral Urban sketchers (WUS)for last Sunday.

The theme was a sketch entitled “My five a day” and the submissions were tremendously varied : 5 x mugs, 5 x boats, 5 x sketches from lockdown walks and many more!

The spirit is fantastic and everyone posting on our facebook page is so complimentary about each other’s work.  We are up to over 500 on the Facebook page now, mostly local but some as far afield as Australia emigres who have a connection with the Wirral. I am looking forward to the day we can meet outside again for some “traditional” sketching but until then the challenges are great fun!
