W.S.A. Open November 2017

Graham Thew November 4, 2017

Spent yesterday afternoon Stewarding at the exhibition, lovely afternoon, it was very busy with people musing over the exhibition with a general consensus it seemed that this was one of the best if not the best in recent times. I can only agree with that, having had more time to walk round and REALLY look at the work there is an amazing array of skill, variation of technique, and subject matter on show. Delighted that my two small, very abstract and different works were accepted. I agonised before submitting them, for whilst they are very typical of my current work which I am finding challenging, yet rewarding they are not exactly the sort of work that I would previously have expected to be accepted so  pleased that others are seeing something in the approach to my contemporary use of watercolour.
